The Adirondack Climbers Coalition (ACC) will be holding its formation meeting on Saturday February 3rd at 6pm in Lake Placid NY at the High Peaks Cyclery Guide House. The Guide House is located immediately right (south) of the High Peaks Cyclery store at 2733 Main St, Lake Placid NY. There is a free large parking area immediately to the left (north) of the store. Everyone interested in rock and ice climbing in the Adirondack Park is encouraged to attend. We’ll try to keep the meeting to around an hour with the option to socialize, BYOB, after the meeting concludes.

The bylaws will be posted here on the site before the meeting for review. If anyone is interested in being a board member please get in touch.

If you can’t attend the meeting but would like to voice your opinion on what we are doing. Please let us know!

The ACC was formed when it was realized that an organization was needed to represent rock and ice climbers interests through out the Adirondack Park including but not limited to; parking, access, endangered species, resource management and fixed anchors.

This meeting will only be canceled due to extremely poor weather conditions, with a TBD rescheduled date. Meeting cancellation will be posted on our website, emailed and on other media sites as soon as possible.
